After the sale - I needed tires for my truck about a year after I had bought it. The minute I walked in Mark shook my hand and asked how the truck was doing and if there was anything I needed. I proceeded to let him know I was in need of tires, so he made a quick phone call and set up an appointment for me to get new tires. The only thing I had to do was pay for them, he took the frustrating part of deciding what tire is best for the truck without spending $1500.
Present day - Just purchased another truck from Mark making it number 5 from him. The customer focused mentality is the same as it was the first time I stepped foot in their door back in 2010. Although we have become good friends over the years I can promise you that everyone who is looking for a slightly used vehicle will be treated the same way I have been for the past 8 years.
I have purchased numerous vehicles/trailers/motorcycles from Mark and the staff at Capital City over the past 8 years and it has been nothing short of exceptional. Mark took the time to sit down with me and get a list of the must haves and could live withouts in order to find me what I was looking for as soon as possible. There is a reason you are coming to a used car dealership looking for a vehicle, so if you have one color choice with very specific options it could take a few weeks, or even a month, but I guarantee you it will be flawless when they find it for you.

Surprise of surprises, no call back. In all, it was a waste of about 45 minutes of my life I'll never get back dealing with staff who have no regard for following through on their word or respect for a customer's time. Although your experience may not be the same as mine, you can use this as a yardstick to see what type of people operate this business. If they feel dealing with you is potentially unprofitable for them, they don't give you an ounce of consideration. A simple, "No thanks, we're not interested" would have been sufficient and appreciated, instead of dragging me along and wasting my time.
Somewhere in between - I bought trailers, motorcycles, and numerous cars. Being he is a USED dealership he can get his hands on virtually anything. He isn't restricted to one brand like new dealerships are. He always has fun classics in the showroom too, which is always cool to stop by and see what's in there under the lights.
Sometimes, this happens, so I came in Friday afternoon the next day. I never said a thing about it and figured I should just bring my vehicle in. She and the owner looked it over, made some comments implying it may have been in an accident (it wasn't - it only has 1,500 miles on it and was bought 3 months ago), then disparaged it because similar vehicles get lease offers.While I waited outside for the owner to get back to me, I was eventually told that he was in a meeting and I would get a call back regarding their valuation.
I've purchased many vehicles from Capital City Motorworx. They have always been great to deal with. Their cars a very clean and I've never had a problem. Great customer service. They bend over backwards to make their customers happy.
I'm giving Capital City Motor Worx one star because they answered the phone. The rest of the experience after that was negative. Lexi spoke with me at 11:09am on the 10th of August regarding my inquiry on a buy out valuation of my vehicle. After giving her all the information, she said she'd follow up with me in a couple hours.
This dealership was top notch! Mark went above and beyond to make sure the truck I purchased was everything I wanted. He gave me suggestions and his advice, but was in no way pushy what-so-ever. After I decided on a truck the process was absolutely painless. So quick and professional. I felt like family by the end of the whole process! I would recommend Capital City Motor Worx to anyone who is looking for a new vehicle, and look forward to the next vehicle I purchase with them!

Initial Contact - I initially went to Capital City just looking at the different options out there for a nice used truck with less than 40,000 miles. Mark greeted me as I walked in and ask how I was doing and if there is anything in particular I was looking for. At that time I wasn't sure what I wanted, so we walked out on the lot and he showed me the different brands and packages trucks come in.(LT, LTZ, etc...) I eventually test drove a Ford F150 that I really liked. Mark told me to think about it over the weekend and come back Monday if I wanted to fill out an application and see about financing. Well me being like every other person I went to all the other dealerships around town and shopped around. After about 2 weeks I came back to Capital City and talked to Mark. I had seen tons of used vehicles, test drove a few, but none of them caught my eye like the Ford I drove 2 weeks prior. I proceeded to wheel and deal with Mark and came to a price we were both good with. The thing I liked most was Mark kept asking me where do I need to be to feel comfortable, I'm the one who has to make the payments each month. He never pressured me into buying the truck like some of the other dealerships would do once you test drove a vehicle.
My family buys all my vehicles from Mark and Lexi at Capital City Motorworx. ABSOLUTELY the best place in town if you are looking for nice clean trucks or cars. I had been dealing with other places years ago and was tired of all the salesperson headaches. If they don't have it on the lot they will work to find it for you and the pricing is unreal! They genuinely care about the customer. Also I send all my friends and family to them and everyone is happy. Thanks Mark and Lexi!
Financing - They were able to branch out to numerous banks in the Bismarck area and beat my local bank who I have done business with for 10+ years!!!! That in and by itself is remarkable. They don't try to make a percent on the financing like other dealerships try to do.
