Ate at Krolls tonight to enjoy "shakey Monday". Food was great. Service was great. But our server told us the buy one get one free shake would we be taken care of at the till. We were in a hurry to leave as my husband had a long drive for work and didn't realize until we got home that we got charged for 2 shakes. I would think that with a popular promotion, people would not be getting charged for a free item. Disappointed.
Krolls is always an excellent choice if you're looking for a hearty meal. Most recent syop was no exception.
Wonderful food! All the regular choices of a usual Diner. The omelets are delicious. The bonus of this place is they have a lot of German options! It's definitely a unique Cafe in that respect. I gave them 5 stars for grape food clean restaurant clean restrooms and good customer service from both the waiters we dealt with. However I would rate their coffee at one star it was pretty tasteless/weak, next time I will save my money and not get coffee.
The staff is very good and courteous. They had to take care of a bus tour of 34 adults and handled it well. The food was good. The owner came out and talked to us explained the different German foods on the menu. He even brought out a sample of one of the dishes. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and if I am ever in that town I will be stopping there.
Beware there is a guy who looks and seems like he likes little kids
