I came in visiting with my family from out of town we waited at least 10 to 15 minutes for a table to be cleared . Once the table was cleared we continued to wait another 10 to 15 minutes to be given a menu or at LEAST greeted by the staff. I have never experienced such poor customer service. Needless to say we did not dine there. So disappointing ! I do not recommend this place for people who expect to at least feel welcome when they are dining.
Food is normally hot and delicious here. But was really displeased with my latest experience here. The food was warmish at most. The hash browns were almost raw. And the eggs were burnt and rubbery. Very disappointed. No attempt to offer to take the food back and replaced or an apology.
Bad: Food was a little too salty (and I like salty). It took a long time for our order to be taken. My wife's food came out in good time, but mine was given away. I then had to all about it and only got my food after my wife was done. The pancakes needed more sauce. Finally, when we asked for our bill, the waitress never came back for our check, but processed the checks for the table next to us.
Summary: No need to return.
Like a date with someone really attractive with annoying personality and bad breath.

Because the staffs bouncer had a confrontation with me earlier, he banned me from coming to this place again. I am a army VETERAN and was going to Avery’s since it opened and I really did like their food. But the way they treat their customers, the pond and j60 included is atrocious. They have no concept of customer service and they won’t change. If this continues this bar/restaurant will fail. I don’t wish to see that, but if they treat people like this then they deserve it. Not only that, I let them double charge me last week( because they didn’t know how to reimburse me) and they promised me a free breakfast burro tonight. I even got it in writing and they didn’t fulfill their end of the bargain, instead I end up there for 20 minutes and because the bouncer is a cry baby, I end up getting pulled out by BPD. I am currently looking at what I can do legally to them because it seemed like they knew they screwed up by charging me for someone else’s meal but didn’t accept me back into their restaurant because they didn’t want to give me the Burro. I will try my best to be civil with the staff at this establishment but I know that it probably won’t be good. I hope they contact me to come to an agreement.
Good: Food was fairly good (though there were caveats). The staff was nice (again there are caveats to the service)
I want to like this place and have tried multiple times. It's hit or miss here. Service is poor 4 out of 5 visits. Food is often served cold and after a long wait. The portions are a good size but who wants to wait 30 for a cold plate.
