We will likely be eating here again eventually.
The chicken soup was good quality.
I came in with a team of coworkers, all from out of town. The facility is very nice and clean. We got to meet the owner, and he was simply one of the nicest people you could ever meet. Lastly, the food was really really good! Definitely going to come in anytime we're in town for work.
This is the first time I've eaten here and the employees were all polite and seemed to care about the customers.
I tried the Gryo sub recently and honestly I can say it was the best hot sub I have EVER tried from ...anywhere. Definitely a "go-to" comfort food place. Cold subs are a favorite at catered parties around here, too, apparently. I used them for a grad party, last Spring and the subs just flew off the tray with every wave of visiting teens. Wow, definitely a favorite of the "kids".
I was amazed at how quickly they made our food from scratch. Whole, quality, fresh ingredients made the meal healthy and delicious. The fries were great! I had the hot veggie sandwich and was very impressed with the tasty vegetarian option.
The food was decent but not worth the wait or the price. We waited 20 minutes for our 2 sandwiches and fries. Also, it took me by surprise when we paid using our credit card they were asking for a tip. I'm not sure how little they are paying their employees but considering the price of the subs I would think they could afford to pay them a living wage. All they did was make the food. They did not bring it to the table, deliver it somewhere, nothing. When I say they're soliciting for a tip I mean 3 options come up on the screen 15% 20% 25% and in teeny tiny writing it gives you the option to do another amount. Tipping is getting out of control and this place is a great example of it. Sure, give an option to tip but don't make it look mandatory. I probably won't be returning since there are other places that have better food and are more adequately priced for what you're getting. If I'm paying almost $30 for lunch for 2 I'd rather be going to a full service sit down restaurant where I would most likely have leftovers.
Service was great, we got checked on twice during our meal, but they weren't intrusive. When we left we nearly forgot my soup and an employee rushed after us to make sure we didn't.
Some of the fries were good, although we seemed to get a lot of the skin bits and they were sub par.
The bread on the cold turkey sub was too hard and crunchy, but it otherwise seemed to be good quality~
