Much like Ryeliegh said previously. We took our dog in for what seemed to be an ear infection and terrible itching. They gave us a frontline flea and tick chewable and charged us $180. Today we took our dog, Leo, into a new vet and for the same $180 we got multiple items to fix his issues which ended up being an actual ear infection and NOT fleas or ticks whatsoever. They also cleaned his ears out for us and gave us many suggestions on how to put him at ease. The infection got way worse over this last month and nothing was done due to Missouri Valley. Would not recommend at all. They did not seem to care about us whatsoever and they charged us an arm and a leg to do absolutely nothing!
My dog has been having issues with his skin & they initially said it was due to allergies. They suggested I change his food and give him Benadryl. We gave it a few months and his condition only got worse so I took him back today. The gal we saw today did not ask me how he was doing, what his symptoms were, or even if I had any questions or concerns. She did not ask me a single question. I saw this vet for a total of 2 minutes as she took him back to get his skin scrapped and when she came back in to tell me she will be giving him nex guard . She did not explain what they were testing his skin for, or what this medication was going to do for him. She did not give me time to ask questions as she was in and out. I did express to her as she was walking out my dogs ears have a bad smell and are itchy and she said she would give him some ointment. When I go to pay my bill I didn't get anything for his ears and was charged out the rear for a flea medication. He doesn't have fleas so I why was this being prescribed? One of many questions I left the office with. I am extremely frustrated at this point and I walk out to my car and decide to call to speak to the vet . "The vet we had just saw (5 minutes ago mind you) has left for the day and so did the assistant that was with her" . Well no wonder I was rushed, they had better things to get to and helping my dog and me as a concerned owner was not one of them. The gal I spoked to on the phone answered one of my questions but since she wasn't there to see my dog she couldn't answer my other questions. I did not feel they made my dog a priority & therefore I will not be bringing any of my dogs back to Missouri valley.
Great place! Wonderful doctors! Excellent care for our dogs!
Kind gentle explained so I understand. Very clean, explaining other ways my dog could do to help him. Thought we were going to have him put down. We did chromatic with acupuncture, and I believe that fixed his problem of not walking or jumping up and down. He's doing great now.
Quick service. A little difficult to spot from the road.
