I had a torn rotator cuff. I had surgery to repair it at the Bismarck Surgical Associates. The care I received was excellent. Everything done at the center was thorough and organized. I appreciated how my surgery was on time so I didn't have to wait and be nervous. I was in by 9:00 a.m. and headed back home at 12:00 noon. The nurse that I had was excellent and very caring. She gave me very thorough instructions before I left so I could begin a successful recovery. I give the nurse and Dr. Timothy Juelson's team an A+ at Bismarck Surgical Associates.
I would find a provider who cares about their patients and tries to remedy the errors they make.
The surgery was good, but watch the billing. Even though they were part of Primecare they chose to use an out-of-network provider for my crutches. I had no choice in who they used and assumed they would use their partner medical device store. Instead they used an out of network provider and I got stuck paying out of network deductible for what should have been an in-network charge.
