Check all the reviews. It seems like a good experience for most people, but it turned me off entirely to the gym seeing the owner throw what can only be called a temper tantrum when dealing with a calm, young female member.
More concerned about making money than people's overall health. I had an issue with a charge, so I called the gym. I never received a call back from the manager, so when I went to work out, I asked him if he had gotten my message. He said that he hadn't--it had been three days. I explained the situation, but it wasn't a productive conversation. The front desk said that they had given him my message. Poor communication here led to frustration.
Gold's is such a great gym to work out in. From staff, to trainers, and all the other people working out in the gym they are all super friendly and motivating. It really is a great big huge supportive family. I am currently training with April Lund, and let me tell you she is absolutely amazing. I have gained so much knowledge, ambition, and RESULTS working out with her. She will push you when you are ready to give up and encourage you to go above and beyond! I can say only positive things about April. Not only will you gain the best workout buddy ever, but a great great friend as well. You won't be disappointed.
Nice place, but have heard a lot of bad stories about the manager, a lot of the machines have technical problems that seem to never be fixed, And what's with the hours, only open till 7 on weekends? Thinking of taking my business to anytime fitness, I'll miss the sauna but ide like a better range of hours to workout. Overall they're good, but they definitely need some work.
The newly renovated gym provides far more equipment and space. They meet the need of the heavy lifter and the calisthenic king. I’ll never be a member anywhere but Golds
