Still getting things settled in but it looks cleaner, and not so cluttered as the other place!! Staff is friendly and helpful! ! Prices are reasonable and affordable.
Very expensive, and a measly 20% off "customer appreciation" sale every once in a while is not even enough to bring down the prices on items to something reasonable.
The new store owner is friendly and knowledgeable about antiques. Much cleaner and more organized than before. Really like going there. Reasonable prices and they work with you. I got a bench for $70. The owner of the store called the owner of the bench and she lowered her price $20. Never hurts to ask.
Don't buy things here, otherwise you will overpay for something not worth what they are asking for it. They have a tiny 20% off sale every few weeks, but even that isn't enough to bring down the prices on the items to something reasonable. What they should do is have a 50-75% off sale every few months, and sell a bunch of the old stuff they have sitting in the store. They want $20-$40 per old radio here, which is absolutely outrageous, especially considering that it probably needs tons of work and doesn't even work in the first place. Some items don't even have prices on them, and I'm afraid to ask what they will take for something because the price will probably be insanely high. UPDATE: of early September 2017, they are now doing the red-x system, where everything with a red x on the tag if 50% off. Some people must have suggested they do this, cause there is no way they would have themselves. Even with this new system in place, I went through the entire store and didn't see a single red x on any of the items I looked at, which isn't surprising.
i like going into this antique store. The store is beautiful and great prices on the merchandise. The staff that work there are so helpful and very friendly. It's loaded with lots of memories from my day.
