Sears and Kmart are not long for this world if they don't get their act together fast. Giving away items through the rewards program then having overpriced middling merchandise is no way to run a business.
Knowledgeable staff and there is always a bargain.
There's a back door where you hold your phone under a scanner, it goes beep and your stuff comes out within around 4 minutes.
I tried to exchange a pair of shoes my son got as a birthday gift. They refused to do anything without a receipt and even with a receipt they wouldn't do anything if it's been over 30 days. I even tried calling their corporate number to see if we could get assistance from them. Their customer service is terrible.
The store pickup at this Sears is second to none! No having to walk the store or get hounded by employees when you already bought what you wanted.
Here's the good:
I had the worst experience in my life with the Sears repair of people. They came out to fix a light on a refrigerator and found a filter housing was bad but didn't bother to tighten the connector and it flooded my house. Then they came back to take pictures of the damage, but they didn't fix the fridge yet and it's been about a month. The techs were very rude to me and my tenants. I will never buy another appliance from Sears ever.!!!
They are losing whatever competitive advantage they had quickly and it shows here... Store's empty besides the snowblower aisle in winter (except the pickup door in the back).
I have always had great service here and anything I have bought has lasted. I would come here over wal-mart.
