Great help at front desk discussing tires with Braden... When I told him which tires I was looking for,...he said he could have them in 2 days, and an appointment to install them. It was the simplest new venture for me! Very Pleased!
OK Tire responded saying the spare tire could have been over torqued by us BUT they are the ones who put the spare tire back on when they realized that a tire was missing. They put the spare back on and left the truck in the parking lot. They left me a voicemail saying THEY PUT THE SPARE TIRE BACK ON but if I could get the missing tire in before close, they would install it. We had hand tightened the spare tire on originally to limp the truck in to get new tires on so if it was over torqued, it was by OK Tire. All other tire companies in the Bismarck/Mandan area said it IS always possible to over torque a tire in a tire shop using torque sticks and to say it isn't possible, simply is not true. Do not look for OK Tire to stand behind their work if something goes wrong.
Bought a battery & got an oil change; the men working here could not have been nicer!! Would definitely recommend this store!!!
Amazing service! Friendly staff and no pressure to do any more than necessary. They were recommended to me and I will now recommend them to anybody I know!
Excellent customer service as they helped to repair my flat tire although I originally made an appointment to buy new tires as traveling thru ND & the new one I had bought back home was acting up after visiting a ditch!
September 29, 2017 I went in to OK Tire and told them I tow trailers/weight with my 2001 F250 7.3 Superduty and I wanted a SAFE set of tires. They assured me 2 times that they would never send me out the door with unsafe tires. Prior to making the decision to put new tires on, I had a flat so when I dropped off the truck it still had a spare tire on. OK Tire called me around 4 pm that day and said they had installed 3 of the 4 new tires and put the spare back on. I dropped off the forgotten final tire around 5pm on a Friday afternoon and it was installed by 5:24pm and OK left it in the parking lot for me to pick up after hours. My first trip pulling a trailer after the new tires were put on, the rear driver's side tire FELL OFF while driving. WE ARE BLESSED TO BE ALIVE. All 8 bolts sheared off at once. I have done that same trip numerous times with the same trailer and load and the only thing different this trip was the new tires. I left a voicemail for the owner of OK Tire (Jim Ohnstadt Fargo) and never received a call back. OK Tire in Bismarck never even looked at the tire that fell off - simply told me it was not their problem and had more to do with the age of my truck and the trailer than anything else. We hired a guy with a 2001 F250 7.3 superduty with 280,000 miles on it to go get our stranded trailer off the side of the road and his tire(s) never fell off. 4 other local tire companies took the time to look at the 8 bolts and the tire and all agreed that over torqued bolts were the cause. One shop had 3 of their certified techs take a look and give me their opinion of what could have caused all 8 bolts to sever at the same time and they all agreed that over torquing is the problem. If you have a problem after the sale, don't expect any help from OK Tire. They will not take responsibility for anything regardless of the proof. The owner won't even return your calls after he finds out what you are calling about. UPDATE:
