Working for Ruth Meier's was the worst job experience i've ever had. Long hours low pay no lunch breaks. I've almost been stabbed, hit, kicked, beat up by clients almost a dozen times. Chad and Peggy in management like to bully their employees and strong arm them into thing that you don' want to do like work doubles come into meetings after working 14 hour shift. Also I have personally seen them discriminate and turn away mentally ill persons on several occasions just because they don't feel like giving them the help they need or a safe place to stay for the night, so these clients have no where to go. Steer clear of this place if have morals or want to keep your sanity!
Rules in place to keep my children safe but they actually take away their independence. This is good for what it is but stay motivated to get on your own.
Worse place I have been. Staff is extremely rude. It's filthy and full of bedbugs. Sex offenders are there staring down women and children. And people are not only on drugs there but they are doing it in the bathroom with kids in the room. Kids run wild down the halls screamimg snd banging all night. And the food they cook gave us food poison and put us in the hospital. That place needs to be bulldozed down.
