the worst property management company you could ever deal with. terrible leases. terrible people.
Goldmark is a very sketchy place. They do sneaky underhanded things. I've also heard bad things about this place from some nurses I work with as well, they all say the same "be careful." Definitely take pictures when you move in and when you move out. Leave nothing out such as crown moldings, closet and cabinet doors, the rugs and floors. Be sure these photos are dated and initialed by a Goldmark employee. Also, be present for your exit walk through. Whatever you do don't skip out on your final apartment inspection. If you're not there then they won't be able to provide any supporting evidence as to what was wrong with the apartment because it would have already been fixed by time you are notified of these "apparent" damages. Just be sure too record, record, record. Keep photos and be sure that you have them document any damage that is already done to the apartment before you move in and get a copy of this document with their signature as well. Just be sure any previous damage is on file and that you have proof of the apartment's condition before you move in. Just be safe and protect yourself.
These guys are terrible. Absolutely the most crooked company you could ever rent from. They put in your lease that should they not repair the building and it hinders your business, too bad. They left a door lock broken for 8 months such that customers could not access retail spaces.
