Paul the owner can be a little difficult and if you happen to receive an ass chewing look at it as a motivational speech because the same guy will give you the shirt off his back. I have worked as a company driver, a lease operator and an INDEPENDANT contractor here and all 3 experiences were above and beyond.
Even new drivers will make $1200+ per week, consistently.
After 10 years working here, I never missed getting home to see my kids every other week.
This is not a place for slackers and motivation is expected, along with reading maps, not abusing equipment, basically common sense stuff.
I consistently get a weekly average of 3000 miles per week.
P&B Transportation is it good company the owner Paul expect you to do your job and a half common sense understandably he gets upset if you don't do your job properly if you make a mistake own up to it take your stripes and learn I did not leave the company on the best of terms I later opened my own trucking company and Paul regardless of my past transgressions with him gave me outstanding advice and taught me a few things he has never lied to me never cheated me never took my money always paid me on time and always treated me with respect that I deserve my initial review was one star because I was a disgruntled employee upset because I felt that I've been treated wrong after further review I realized the only person who had done wrong was me once again Paul the owner of p&B it's a remarkable person I will always have your back as long as you're doing what you're supposed to do I would definitely work for Paul again PS the pay is freaking amazing
And I the trucks can do the speed limit in almost every state.
And we don't get stuck for days waiting for a load ever.
The miles are phenomenal 3 to 4000 per week but you have to match scales, tolls, fuel, loading and unloading. P & B tends to weed out the steering wheel holders because they hold drivers accountable for doing inspections, they run a tight ship so communication is a must and being able to route/trip plan using an atlas not a gps.. old school mentality and I love it

There are no tricks to avoid paying what's promised.
